About this Program
Our member organizations know their neighborhoods better than any agency does. What they need is time, tools, and each other. CEJN builds training and resources around what members actually ask for, so nobody is solving the same problem alone.
That includes the practical skills that decide whether a community gets heard: how to write a public comment, where to submit it, how to speak at a hearing, how to reach an elected official who has not returned your calls. Residents and young people use those skills to launch their own campaigns, not just to support someone else's.
It also means the work outlasts any one person. Legacy leaders move on and roles change. We build the bench so the fight does not pause when they do.
